A superb individual goal from Gervinho on the stroke of halftime earned Ivory Coast a 1-0 win over Mali on Wednesday and a ticket to the Africa Cup of Nations final.
Gervinho sprinted down the wing and cut in to fire past goalkeeper Soumaila Diakite and set up a Sunday showdown with Zambia while Mali will face Ghana the previous evening for third place.
