Live Morocco vs South Africa | African Cup of Nations 2013
Hosts South Africa take on Morocco knowing a win will assure progression to the last eight.
Bafana Bafana’s improved performance in their 2-0 win over Angola put them in the driving seat in the group.
But they are without injured striker Lehlohonolo Majoro , while fellow forward Tokelo Rantie is doubtful after twisting an ankle.
Morocco will miss playmaker Younes Belhanda, who is suspended after picking up two bookings.
The Moroccans have struggled to impress so far, with two draws from two matches against the Palancas Negras and Cape Verde.
Morocco coach Rachid Taoussi:
“What is important for us is to reach the knockout stage.
“We have talented footballers, but sometimes lack team-work.
“It is a bitter reality I am striving to change.”
South Africa coach Gordon Igesund:
“I was very happy with the team that started [against Angola] and I was very happy with the team that finished.
“Playing defensive football is not my style.
“However, I cannot go out there and open up, leaving us vulnerable to counter-attacks.”
