SUPER Zamalek Wins Egyptian Super Cup | Highlights | VIDEO

Zamalek achieved a hard-fought victory over arch-rivals Al Ahly to claim the Egyptian Super Cup for 2018-2019 at the Mohamed Ben Zayed Stadium on Thursday.

It was a rather closed match with both teams gunning over possession of the ball in the first half. The closest each team came to scoring was when Geraldo scored a goal in the 12th minute.

In the second half, a fight broke down between Tarek Hamed and Mahmoud Kahraba after he struck him into the back of his head.

The penalty shootouts finished 4-3 with new Ahly signing Aliou Badjy wasting a shot giving Zamalek the victory.
