WOLFSBURG are plotting a move for Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah as Manchester United step up their efforts to land Kevin De Bruyne, according to reports.
Tuttomercatoweb claims that the German outfit are already making plans in the event that De Bruyne leaves for a new challenge.
Bayern Munich have been linked with a big-money move for the Belgian playmaker, but reports in England believe that the Red Devils are also looking to compete for his signature.
And if De Bruyne does indeed leave the Bundesliga giants, Mohamed Salah has been tipped as the man to replace him.
The Egypt international has struck six goals in just eight appearances with loan side Fiorentina, and it is unclear whether he will form part of Jose Mourinho’s plans for next season.
