Egypt striker Amr Zaki has vowed to deliver his best for his new club Raja Casablanca, insisting that he is very happy to join the Moroccan giants.
The 30-year-old striker flew to Morocco on Wednesday to undergo medical tests and sign his contract and he was officially presented to fans at a press conference late on Friday.
“I am not Barcelona’s star Lionel Messi, but I promise to deliver my best for Raja,” Zaki said in the press conference.
“I always love to play under pressure to advance at the league table and then compete for the league title,” the Pharaohs frontman said.
“I am proud to play for Raja as it is one of the biggest clubs in Africa, and I will work to solve the club’s attacking line problems. Also I am happy to be the first Egyptian player who joins a Moroccan club.
“My main target is to help Raja to win the coming league matches and restore its top form and then guiding the team to win the African Champions league title,” the Egyptian player concluded.
Zaki has been a free agent since leaving Kuwaiti side Al-Salmiya last month.
