1994/1995

The final in this year was between Blackburn and Liverpool. At the start of the game, Blackburn had a chance at the league title and knew they needed to win to secure their title once and for all.

This means that there was quite a lot riding on the game, particularly given the fact that Blackburn were up against Liverpool, who would be tough to beat. The game looked to be ending in a draw, but Redknapp managed to store a goal during injury time, leaving Blackburn fans stunned, and unsure about what this would mean for their league position.

Luckily, Manchester United, who were their rivals for the title, only manage to draw that day – meaning even though Liverpool were the winners of the match, Blackburn still managed to claim the title.

2004/2005

When West Bromwich were right at the bottom of the table at Christmas, it seemed almost certain that they would risk relegation that year, leaving little hope in the minds of their fans for the rest of the season. However, the team managed to win on the final day, meaning that they were lifted out of the relegation zone, and managed to secure their spot in the league for the following season, you can try your luck at powerplay website and win big.

It was particularly worrying for the team and their fans thanks to the fact that the positions changed several times during the afternoon due to results of other matches – so they were certainly happy to be able to breathe a sigh of relief once the day was over and the results were secured.

2007/2008

Who is going to win the league is always an exciting question to ask, but this is, even more, the case if it goes right down to the last match before it is decided.

In this season, Manchester United were almost neck and neck with Bolton, meaning that the outcome of their respective matches that day would be the decider with regards to who would be the team to ultimately claim the title. As it happened, United managed to win their game 2-0, and Chelsea only managed to draw their game – meaning that they didn’t have enough points to either match or stay ahead of United.

It would have been a nail-biting few hours for sure while fans waited for the results of both matches to come in, but there is no doubt that United fans would have had a lot of celebrating to do once they discovered that they were the champions.
